EA announced in an official press release that the upcoming Apex Legends Global Series Major 1 that was supposed to happen in Texas on March 13-15 has been cancelled due to coronavirus (COVID-19). Apex Legends Global Series Major 2 — which is an online tournament exclusively — will be maintained on March 21-23.

We still don't have any information about Apex Legends Majors that will take place in France on April 24-26. EA continues to receive guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) to evaluate and provide more details on upcoming events. In addition to Apex Legends tournaments, it should be noted that many FIFA events have also been cancelled by the publisher.
