Apex Legends: EA sign in code 100 on PS4, Xbox, and PC

Sometimes you may not be able to log in to the game and an error message called "code 100" appears at the bottom of your Apex Legends home screen. This is a server connection problem and there are two possible scenarios:

  • EA servers are completely down
  • You have a connection problem at home

Here is a little manipulation to know if the EA servers that are down or not.

For console players

  • Access your Network settings → Advanced Settings → DNS Settings
  • Change the following settings :
    Primary DNS: 8.8.8.8 → Secondary DNS: 8.8.4.4
    MTU parameter: Auto
    DNS Settings: Manual
    Proxy server: do not use
  • Reboot your console

If the problem persists, it's an EA servers problem.

For PC players

  • Press WIN + R to open the control box
  • Type ncpa.cpl
  • Once the network connection has appeared, right-click on your internet connection
  • Open the Property Menu and select Internet Protocol version 4 (IPv4) properties
  • Select "Use the following DNS server address" and enter the following settings :
    Preferred DNS server: 8.8.8
    Alternative DNS server: 8.8.4.4
  • When finished, close all dialog boxes and restart your computer.

If the problem persists, it's an EA servers problem.
