A few days ago, Natus Vincere had cut several heads in his DotA 2 workforce. The changes are even more drastic than expected, since the structure has decided to change almost everything. They will test the FlyToMoon team for at least two tournaments and get them signed full time if the structure is satisfactory. Natus Vincere has yet to win a tournament this year and to change the dynamic it looks set to make some sweeping adjustments.
Two tournaments to convince
The FlyToMoon team won over Natus Vincere and his COO Aleksey “ xaoc ” Kucherov. With limited means, the team managed to stay competitive while winning some tournaments like the OMEGA League (Divine Division). The players have proven their seriousness and perhaps they deserve to integrate a bigger structure. As Na'Vi is currently looking to renew itself, this deal seems a win-win for both parties.
Alik “ V-Tune ” Vorobey, Bogdan “ Iceberg ” Vasilenko, Victor “ GeneRaL ” Nigrini, Vladimir “ RodjER ” Nikogosyan and Andrey “ ALWAYSWANNAFLY ” Bondarenko will have 2 tournaments to convince Na'Vi to enter them definitively. Their performances will therefore be carefully scrutinized at the OGA Dota PIT season 3 and at ESL One Germany . It should be noted that GeneRal and RodjER are alumni of the house and would surely be very happy to once again wear the yellow of Natus Vincere with whom they have already had success.
The logical continuation of this life-size test also means that Illias “ Illias ” Ganeev and Alexander “ Immersion ” Hmelevskoy are sent, like the rest of the old roster, to the bench of inactive.
The main objective of professional players is to win as many tournaments as possible. But sometimes there are other more important things in life, like the birth of a child.
