Pokémon Unite has been an unexpected successes so far, with players anticipating its release on mobile devices.
Now it has a definite release date, with the latest Pokémon Presents pencilling in September 22, 2021 for its iOS and Android debut.
As expected with the mobile launch, there will be new incentives for players to sign up and play. Depending on the target hit, players will receive the following:
- 1m pre-registrations: 1,000 Aeos Tickets
- 2.5m pre-registrations: Pikachu Unite License
- 5m pre-registrations: Festival Style: Pikachu Holowear
It should be noted that Nintendo Switch players will also benefit from this promotion.
As part of the event, cross-save and crossplay were both confirmed for all devices -- allowing players to take their progress anywhere.
As for upcoming news, two new Pokémon will join the roster in the near future -- Mamoswine and Sylveon.
No release date has been given for these two Pokémon as yet, so stay tuned. Blissey has already been added to the roster this week.
