Pokémon GO cards: A user makes a terrible mistake and spoils a Full Art!

The new expansion of the TCG in collaboration with Pokémon GO allows you to obtain beautiful rare cards but a collector has simply spoiled one of his Full Art thinking that a surprise was hiding inside...

On July 1, 2022, the new extension of the JCC was released in France. The opportunity for all Pokémon GO card and mobile game fans to buy booster packs for this highly anticipated collaboration. On the visuals of the small pieces of cardboard, we then find references to the emblematic title of Niantic which today celebrates its 6 years of existence! A Chansey in an arena, a Pikachu with a cap, a decoy module or even the captains of the red, blue and yellow teams... Everything is done to attract card collectors but also smartphone trainers.

When Metamorph also disguises himself as a Pokémon card

One of the most impactful mechanics of this new TCG expansion is undoubtedly the possibility of falling on a Metamorph card. The all-pink Pokémon is renowned for its ability to transform into an object or another creature, so in Pokémon GO the only way to capture it is to first catch one of its disguises (Coxy for example) . This has been translated into the card game: collectors may stumble upon a dummy card with some kind of sticky layer that just isn't the real picture. It is then possible to remove this layer to reveal the real card hiding below: the Ditto.

When a collector thinks he's come across a Ditto card when no

In order not to frustrate players too much, this Dummy Dummy card is quite rare and many hope to stumble upon it just for the pleasure of removing this sticker image. Of course, in order not to damage a "real" card, a small symbol at the bottom left of the card tells you if it is a Metamorph card or not. However, a user does not seem to have taken this step and simply spoiled one of his Full Art...

This is of course a parody tweet intended to make the web laugh, but it seems that some players have really tempted fate on several cards that do not have the Metamorph icon, thus spoiling several of their beautiful finds.

Are apps giving out too much in-game information?

Applications around League of Legends are more and more numerous, however, some players feel that they give too much information. Two in particular, which indicate the cooldowns of summoner spells in play, are at the center of a new controversy.
