An essential tool during your adventure on Biomutant, the crowbar will allow you to open several doors behind which hides rare loot. Here is a complete guide to leveling it up via Pebble's quest.

How to improve the crowbar on Biomutant

Biomutant has been available since May 25, 2021 on PC, Xbox One and PS4, and the storyline will quickly lead you to wanting to obtain countless items like ultimate weapons or rare equipment.

During your adventure, you will discover early on how to use the crowbar — the Old World Klawbar — to unlock certain doors. This is a tool given during the main quest and one that you cannot miss. However, as you explore, you will see that some doors are more complex to open: this is normal, you will need to improve your crowbar!

In order to improve this very useful tool for your exploration, you need to find the NPC called Pebble. It can be found at Knack Hill, right next to Snakpptrutt outpost, in Sector 7D.

Pebble will explain to you that he is stuck here and that he would like to find a better way to climb. This is your first side mission with him. Your objective is to provide him with three new climbing routes. You just need to follow the quest to figure out where to set them up. Remember that it is almost impossible to climb the walls in Biomutant: for this you have to find some kind of yellow clusters on the cliffs that will allow you to hang on.

Look behind Pebble, the wall is covered with yellow traces that will allow you to take the path. Attention, the other passages are much further, in other sectors of the map. The second point is in sector 9G not far from the Tree of Life.

The last climbing point is just to the west, in Sector 6K.

Once the three climbing paths have been found, come back to Pebble so that he can improve your Old World Klawbar. This will allow you to open other types of doors and previously blocked places.

Be careful though, this is not the end of the quest: Pebble will now ask you to secure three ziplines. Once the quest is completed, he will give you one last task to find an exceptional mount: the Batnam-Nam.

In the meantime, don't forget that Pebble is one of the 16 secondary characters you need to find to complete the Social achievement.
