Biomutant has been available since May 25, 2021 on PC, Xbox One and PS4, and the storyline will quickly lead you to wanting to obtain countless items -- such as ultimate weapons and rare equipment.
Very early on in your adventure you'll discover how to use the Klonkfist to unlock certain doors. This is a tool given during the main quest, and cannot be missed.
However, as you explore, you will see that some passages and walls are more complex to smash -- this is normal, and you just need to upgrade your Klonkfist to gain access!
How to improve the Klonkfist in Biomutant
In order to improve this highly useful exploration tool, you need to find an NPC called Klick. He's located in Anywhere, just next to the Bangshelter in Sector 5D.
Once found, he will give you your first mission, titled "High Voltage". Your objective will be to locate a Substation a few yards away -- in this case, Sector 5E.
If you are going through the Cold Zone, remember to collect the Coldzone Suit first to protect yourself!
Explore the Substation and find the lever to turn on the current. A small blue electric charge will appear on the ground, and the following instruction will appear: "Charge metal with lightning".
You must then position yourself inside this light until your Klonkfist is charged -- the circle will narrow, and you'll see a button to activate when the time comes.
You have to quickly press the corresponding button that appears on the screen.
The quest will ask you to repeat the experience a second time, before spawning a monster to fight.
Once the enemy is defeated, you will need to turn on the current and charge the Klonkfist one last time.
Then, return to Klick so that he can improve your Klonkfist.
The quest ends here, but a second side-mission with Klick will allow you to unlock a special key. Don't forget to do it!
