The beta was already a hit last week on Twitch, but this Tuesday, August 4, Fall Guys was released for good on PS4 and Steam. Victim of its own success, the game is currently experiencing some server bugs in view of the number of players browsing the arenas.
On Steam, Fall Guys was in Top # 6 in sales last week (while it wasn't even released) and continues to sell like hot cakes today. More than 1500 positive reviews are already available on the official steam page of the game .
The Twitter account quickly surpassed 100,000 followers and the Community Manager continues to make the community laugh while the bugs are fixed.
With the game available on PlayStation's PS Plus, and free for life if you pick it up in August, so it's normal to see some influx of players today. Also note that the price is rather attractive ($20).
But we must admit that the colorful Battle Royale has hyped an incredible amount of players in recent days. Very addictive, will the Party Game be able to maintain this number in the coming weeks? Are we going to see an esports scene on Fall Guys?
On this release day, Fall Guys is already averaging over 250,000 unique viewers on Twitch, surpassing the Just Chatting category.
Another interesting fact: more than 120,000 players connected simultaneously today August 4th.
Either way, Mediatonic promises us plenty of additional content to fuel Fall Guys in the days to come.
