While the game doesn't have a competitive circuit or even a ranked mode, Fall Guys continues to catch the eye of esports organisations from across the world. On tuesday, the American esports organisation Panda Global, who mainly sponsor fighting game players, officially announced their roster for the Mediatonic title. This team is the first of its kind, even if the announcement appears very much tongue-in-cheek.
Featuring the likes of Coney, Fullstream, Jaaahsh, and Marss_NE, the team does not currently compete in any league or competiton. Panda Global decided to adopt a humourous tone for their team announcement, which is very much on-brand with the chaotic party game. Players were announced with titles such as "the #6 ranked player* in the world" and "We don't really know how he got on the team either" for Coney and Marss respectively.
It should be noted that every player on the roster was already a member or a sponsored player for Panda Global before the announcement was made. However this team isn't entirely for comedic value, as Coney won the first official Fall Guys tournament as a member of Team Pogging Polygons.
Fall Guys' next competitive outing, Twitch Rivals Fall Guys, will take place on the 28th of August and is sure to bring in tens of thousands of viewers. The official list of the 20 teams of 4 participating in the event has yet to be revealed.
