Less than 24 hours after the Dallas Empire took the throne and the Call of Duty League championship, changes for the second season of the Call of Duty League are already beginning to emerge.
It has been revealed that the team structure will be undergoing change. The five-versus-five format used for the past two seasons of competition is to revert to a four-versus-four format used first used in Call of Duty 4 over a decade ago.
The chance has received with widespread positivity from several players and fans of Call of Duty esports. On the other hand, one player from each of the 12 franchises will be put on the chopping block.
This is the first major change coming ahead of the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War on November 13th. We can expect further details to be revealed in the coming months.
