Call of Duty League planning return to LAN events

In a statement posted on the official website, the Call of Duty League has revealed plans for LAN events starting with Major IV in June.

After a year characterized by online events and pandemic precautions, Activision has announced that the Call of Duty League is returning to an offline format in June with Major IV.

Taking place at the Esports Stadium Arlington, home of defending champions Dallas Empire, the event will feature no spectators, and follow strict guidelines for combating the COVID-19 outbreak.

The only other attendees for the event will be 'limited Call of Duty League and team staff'. with Activision choosing to be as cautious as possible with the return to LAN.

Major IV is due to take place June 17-20, 2021.
