When Modern Warfare was released, players were disappointed when they saw that map voting was no longer available. On the forums, the community wondered about a potential return to map voting, but was negated by the skill-based matchmaking present in the game.
In the screenshot above, we can see that the choice of maps is back as well as the minimap and the Ninja perk.
However, there's no certainty to see this feature return to Black Ops Cold War. We will have to wait for the beta which will be open from October 8th for the PS4 and October 15 for the Xbox One and PC - note that October 15 is an open beta for PS4 users.
The armory gets a new way of working with a system giving players the freedom to choose secondary, primary, tactical, lethal and scorestreaks weapons.
