Let's move on to the potential story of zombie mode. This is all still speculation, because there are only clues on a document. Here are the elements that can offer some context on a potential storyline. Let's start with the first two documents:
The two images are identical, just an inverted color. On the surface, they look like a collage of information from the campaign with "Classified" and "Top Secret" stamps all over it. But if you take a closer look, there are some blue marks which imply some more sinister goings on.
It looks like they're writing "Watch this ASAP" in the blue circle. The man whose profile is marked is Jason Hudson, Alex Mason's CIA manager in Black Ops. It can't be said if the writer is someone who is watching Hudson's movements, or if it's Hudson himself who points out flaws in his profile. Either way, this is one thing worth highlighting.
The operation mentioned was Charybdis. A mission that was to take place in 1978 to kill Mason, Hudson, and Weaver, as they were deemed dangerous to national security. This, of course, never happened, as we see Mason and Hudson operating in the '80s in Black Ops 2. But it shows that Hudson may have been seen as a coward by the CIA. Maybe he was an enemy of the state?
This was also written on Hudson's profile. It states that he is a capable soldier when the element of subtlety and finesse is needed. Anyone who has written in blue ink seems to be criticizing Hudson or at least questioning his abilities.
Here we have a similar cross on a somewhat faded CIA stamp. This document is dated October 23, 1961. It didn't seem like a particularly important date in real life or in Zombies. More importantly, it is just after Mason is captured and sent to Vorkuta. The CIA believed he was dead at this point in time. There are also marked Roman numerals "IV", which appear several times in this image.
We have the profile of Frank Woods, another member of Operation 40 with Hudson, Mason, Weaver and Bowman. The word "patriotic" is crossed out in blue ink, potentially questioning his loyalty to the USA.
Is someone suggesting that he could be working for the enemy?
The word “confidential” is crossed out and 115 is written above. It sounds juicy, but what does it mean? We decided to look at the original Black Ops document to see what it was about. For the most part it's just about the Vietnam War, however, half of the document is cut out in the collage above, but at the very bottom of the full document is this text:
This is the only text containing confidential information that is hidden throughout this document. It mentions the transport of two things through Vietnam. Perhaps it's Nova 6 or from Element 155 which will make reference to Shi No Numa which is also located in Vietnam. Maybe the Nova is taken from element 115?
We have a picture of Shi No Numa under the same page mentioning the German Uranium Club and Wunderwaffen. We know from Classified that the Pentagon knew about the Shi No Numa outbreak, and it's clearly important enough to be here.
