Aethereum and how it works
Aethereum is the currency of Zombies mode. You can earn it while playing and it is thanks to this currency that you can improve your items in Zombies mode. Nanikos believes it will take a total of 432 Aethereum to reach Level 3 of a specific Rune.
According to the in-game code, there are two sorts of Aetherium - Raw and Flawless. Raw Aetherium can be earned by playing the game and once a specific amount has been earned, you can turn it into Flawless Aetherium which can be used to upgrade items.
Armor System
The Armour System in Zombies could be controversial.
It works in the same way it does in Warzone. Players can hold a total of three armor plates at once and can be upgraded 3 times at armor stations which can be found around the map.
Salvage
Salvage is another new currency arriving in Zombies.
Players can use salvage at crafting tables to craft a range of lethal and tactical equipment and those infamous Monkey Bombs!
It is believed that Salvage also has a second tier which enables players to upgrade the rarity of their weapons.
Additional Information
- Zombies drop random loot while playing. It ranges from armor plates, grenades and even scorestreaks.
- There is a minimap.
- There is a compass similar to Modern Warfare and Warzone.
- Zombies have health bars and damage numbers when being shot.
