Battle royale summer sensation Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout continues its quest for wobbly domination with a brand new update featuring a fresh level and other remixed content.
It's called the mid-season update, and developers said that after "transporting players into the domain of medieval mayhem for Season 2, we’ve dived back in with a hefty order of round remixes, oodles of community-inspired improvements and the addition of all-new Round, ‘Big Fans.’"
New Round: Big Fans
The new level has rotating blades that the player must carefully traverse as careful as a wobbly bean can. The blades are linked with slimline platforms. Nail your dive jumps to speedrun it in record time.
As for some of the older levels, Mediatonic added obstacles to liven up the experience. Expect new dangers to avoid, and even some medieval-themed obstacles, like the big spike roller "Thicc Bonkus."
Other obstacles include oversized fruit to avoid, like oversized bananas and berries, and everyone's favorite hammer, Lil Yeety.
Bug Fixes
As for the bug fixes, in the level Hex-A-Gone, an issue where players would fall through the tiles unfairly in the final round is fixed. Players have been complaining about an issue with the crown in Fall Mountain where they cling to it but don't win. This has also been fixed in the update.
Mediatonic said it fixed an issue with jump inputs in general, but especially on the level Jump Showdown.
Matchmaking and Miscellaneous Improvements
In matchmaking, players can now queue up a bunch of shows at the same time, which should speed things up. Choose your in-game language and pick which server region to play. There's also been an issue where players don't get the infallible trophy upon completion.
Stylish customization just got easier. Featured crown costumes are now available in the regular store rotation.
Fall Guys Season 2 "Medieval Knockout!" debuted on Oct. 8, and the latest update (2.5) is live as of Nov. 10. Here's a trailer from Mediatonic showcasing all of the changes:
