As Season One for Black Ops Cold War and the integration of level progression fast approaches, an image has surfaced revealing the presence of Rebirth Island.
The island first appeared in the first Black Ops game and was a Soviet facility which was used to develop Nova 6 gas, the gas widely believed to be used to shrink the Warzone map during a game.
The leak all but confirms that the introduction of Rebirth Island will play a major role in the "Classified Warzone Experience" that was teased in the Season One roadmap for Black Ops Cold War.
A potential release date for the event has yet to be revealed but this latest leak confirms that the event will be taking place in the not too distant future.
With this being a leak, it should be taken with a pinch of salt until we hear official confirmation from either Infinity Ward, Treyarch, or Activision.
