What could be better before the release of a new game than announcing new characters and skins in video? That's what Wild Rift — the mobile game adapted from League of Legends — developers did in their latest video.
Through the final Dev Diary, they tell us about their plans for several characters, and also give us the opportunity to preview some skins.
New champs
Darius and Draven will arrive in Wild Rift for the very first ever Lore event "Noxian Brotherhood". To unlock these two characters, you'll have to complete the event's missions, and learn what happened between these two emblematic Noxus figures.
Wukong, the Monkey King, will appear in-game a little later. It also looks like Teemo will join the game at a future dedicated event.
New skins
Many skins are ready to appear in Wild Rift. For the moment, all the announced skins are from LoL. An overview of these skins is already available for the following champions:
- Ashe
- Garen
- Darius
- Draven
- Wukong
Ranked
Please note that the competitive system will be available during the open beta. If you play a few ranked games during this test period, you'll get a few tokens in return as well as an icon according to the highest rank you'll have reached.
We also learn that the very first season will begin in January 2021.
The launch of the open beta is scheduled for December 10 in Europe.
