Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War's first season is about to debut. Fans raring to get their first glimpse at what to expect in Black Ops Cold War and Warzone saw just that during The Game Awards. In the game's first official gameplay trailer, the players got their first look at the new maps that will be coming to Black Ops Cold War in addition to everything on the way for the new season.
The trailer, set to a Black Sabbath's seminal hit "War Pigs," shows off the type of chaotic shooter action that you can expect from the latest map, Rebirth Island. It looks to feature a variety of tight quarters that should encourage some close-up combat. It's hard to tell at this point with such a quick look, but it seems like it's meant to encourage hair-trigger shooting and quick eliminations.
There's still plenty we don't know about the new season, but there's likely a whole new set of information coming down the pipeline to look forward to before the season drops. Currently, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season 1 is releasing on December 16 on all platforms.
