With the start of Season Two for Black Ops Cold War and Warzone just around the corner, developer Treyarch has revealed a week of free access will take place.
Starting from February 25th, the beginning of Season Two, and ending on March 4th, the week of content will allow players to play a small section of Black Ops Cold War multiplayer and the new Outbreak mode without having to pay.

Multiplayer
- Apocalypse 24/7 - Players will have access to the new Apocalypse map that will play host to a variety of game modes.
- Gun Game - Players have to work their way through a set of 20 weapons in a bid to be declared the victor.
- Gunfight Blueprints - 2v2 competition with designated loadouts on small maps.
- Face-Off - Fast and furious 3v3 gameplay.
- Team Deathmatch
- Domination
- Nuketown 24/7
Zombies
Outbreak
As part of the free access week, players will be able to play the brand-new Outbreak mode.
The large-scale Zombies experience sees players attempt to complete a variety of experiments while slaying hordes of the undead attempting to halt their progress.
Players can choose to exfil the area once the job has been completed or use a Dark Aether portal to continue the fight for additional rewards.
Double XP and Double Weapon XP
While the free access weekend is taking place and to celebrate the launch of Season Two, Treyarch has confirmed that a Double XP and Double XP Weekend will be taking place.
Starting from February 26th, Black Ops Cold War and Warzone players will be able to earn Double XP and Double Weapon XP during matches until March 1st.
As part of Sony's exclusivity deal with Activision, PlayStation players will be granted 24 hours of early access to Double XP and Double Weapon XP which will begin on February 25th.
