The new maps of season 2
Apocalypse 6v6 - Available at launch
Set in the Laos jungle, Apocalypse is a small-medium-sized map where aggression is often the key to success.
The abandoned temple is ideal for close-quarters scenarios while the wooden walkway down the center of the map is the perfect way to secure control of the middle lane.
Golova (Multi-Team) - Available during the season
Golova appears to be a traditional Russian village located in the picturesque Ural plains, but beneath its surface it holds a dark secret embedded by its designer and creator, Nikita Dragovich.
A proving ground for the expansion of the Numbers program, Golova offers plenty of close combat opportunities throughout the city, from a massive church to its rows of houses and industrial park. The stepped terrain the city was built on still provides long-range combat opportunities, but encourages tighter play.
Mansion (2v2, 3v3) - available during the season
Located in Havana, Cuba, at the Hefe Mansion (last seen in the campaign's End of the Line mission), this little map takes place over two courtyards: one to the east with two palm trees and a belvedere, and one to the west with a statue atop a non-functional fountain. These open courtyards contrast with a room wrapped in the center with a small side hallway and exposed balcony that can serve as a risky power position.
Miami Strike (6v6) - Available during the season
With the sun shining on the colorful murals of Miami's South Beach neighborhood, Miami Strike will focus the action in a smaller daytime version of the original map. Whether it's a white-punch TDM game or a tense Hardpoint battle, the heat is always on in the streets of Miami.
Changes to Moscow and other maps - Available from February 24
- Cartel - Several cover adjustments and reduction of hedges to give even more visibility.
- Crossroads Strike - reduced unintentional visibility areas and moved from P4 area to crates on the frozen lake for smoother gameplay.
- Moscow - Reduced unused space to tighten play spaces.
- Satellite - Fixed some areas that allowed abuse of certain cover moons.
- Raid - Players can now ride the van inside the garage area. The radius of zone P1 in Strategic Point has been reduced.
- Express - Correction in front of the train.
- Miami - The new Strike map will actually be a complete overhaul of the map.
