Reigning world champions OG have let go of MidOne, saying they'll be welcoming a new player to the roster soon.

OG has made a change to its Dota 2 roster. The reigning world champion organisation has parted ways with Yeik "MidOne" Nai Zheng, who had joined the team in January last year.

While on OG, MidOne went through a role change in order to fit in with the squad. As his name alludes to, he originally played in the mid lane, but he transitioned to becoming an offlane player. While on the roster, MidOne helped OG to the grand finals of prestigious tournaments such as the OMEGA League and EPIC League, although a championship title was always just out of reach.

With the Dota Pro Circuit's second season of the year looming over teams, OG is pressured to find a replacement for MidOne soon. It seems like the organisation has someone in mind already, though, as they state at the end of their announcement: "OG Dota 2 will be welcoming a carry player approaching the Season 2 of DPC".

Though nothing is certain yet, fans have been pointing to Anathan "ana" Pham, who currently sits on an inactive roster for OG.
