As players await the release of Season 2 Reloaded for Black Ops Cold War and Warzone, data miners may have already found one of the weapons that could arrive during Season 3 which is set to begin on April 22nd.
Baseball Bat Melee Weapon Black Ops Cold War
ZestyCODLeaks discovered lines of code within the files of the game that point towards the baseball bat arriving as a new melee weapon. Various pieces of code including "melee_baseballbat_t9_challenges" uncovered details surrounding the challenges required to unlock camouflages for the new weapon.
Ballistic Knife
Nanikos is another leaker that may have found a weapon set to arrive in Season 3. Code for a ballistic knife has been found within the game. The weapon first appeared in the original Black Ops title as an innovative method of eliminating an enemy.
As always, these leaks should be taken with a grain of salt but the fact that there are lines of code pointing towards their presence in the game, there's every chance that we will see these weapons appearing in the not-too-distant future.
