Activision all but confirms John McClane Warzone Operator

Having teased the release of 80s action movie icon John Rambo, Warzone publisher Activision has all but confirmed that another action hero will be joining Rambo in the battle royale.

After numerous teasers, Die Hard's John McClane will also be arriving to Warzone as a playable Operator after Call of Duty's Twitter account posted the in-game statistics of a user known as "COWBOYMCCLANE#0070030."

With 73 eliminations to his name across five matches, the number of Die Hard movies, it is expected that McClane will be added to the roster of Operators during Season 3 Reloaded which gets underway on May 20th with some kind of limited-time event that could well involve the savior of Nakatomi Plaza.

How To Unlock John McClane Warzone Operator

Rather than having to complete an in-game challenge to unlock John McClane, it's more than likely that players will have to obtain the Operator by spending some COD Points.

During the SAW and Texas Chainsaw Massacre crossovers that came to Warzone, bundles featuring the main characters from both franchises came in at 2400 COD Points.

It's likely that John McClane and Rambo will cost the same amount.
