The 80s Action Heroes event that has taken place in Season 3 of Warzone has been met with widespread positivity from within the often-vocal player base. The event saw new points of interest added to Verdansk alongside the arrival of John Rambo and John McClane as the movie world entered the Call of Duty universe once again.
Previous crossovers between the Texas Chainsaw Massacre and SAW franchises took place during the Haunting of Verdansk event that occurred in October 2020.
With the latest crossover proving a huge success again, many have been left wondering whether Raven Software would be open to more crossovers taking place.
In a recent interview with the PlayStation Blog, Raven Software's Amos Hodge has shed more light on the possibility of more crossovers taking place during the year.
More Warzone Crossovers To Take Place
"We’re definitely going to lean into the ‘80s and we’re definitely going to continue making updates." Hodge stated in the post.
"This is one of the first big splashes we’re making, but you can expect continual updates to the map, new content and ways to play throughout the seasons."
The revelation implies that more crossovers similar to the 80s Action Heroes event are on the cards, much to the excitement of Warzone fans that are already beginning to theorize which crossovers could be taking place in the future.
With Verdansk set in 1984, the crossovers are likely to revolve around that period of time. We've already seen Rambo and Die Hard crossovers, could the Terminator and RoboCop be next?
We will have to wait and see what Raven Software and Activision have in store!
