Call of Duty: Warzone nailed it when choosing to add action heroes of the 80s as a collaboration. If we have historically compared the game to a film of the genre, it is because its most striking moments were perfectly matched with the choreography of this type of feature film.
However, the arrival of John McClane and Rambo has had one negative impact -- it has left us wanting much, much more.
Raven Software have announced that they will carry out other collaborations that, without a doubt, will be more than well received by the community. In this case, a suggestion came to mind as soon as we saw a play shared by a member of the community. Although it moves away from the purest action, it would improve the game like no other: the inclusion of Rocky Balboa as a new operator.
The reason is simple: knowing that melee attacks are powerful in Warzone, and that we've already had a few examples of their devastating potential in enclosed areas, what better than embracing the community meme with a skin?
If you don't believe us, take a look at this player taking down four consecutive opponents with melee attacks alone, to save the day and revive his teammates.
The truth is that there are dozens of examples of heroes that players would like to see introduced into the game as soon as possible, and although everything depends on the deals Activision will have to sign to include them in Call of Duty: Warzone, surely there are deals in negotiation to include as many pop culture icons as possible.
It remains to be seen whether both the developer and publisher are up to the challenge…
