Elden Ring Finished in less than an hour

After the deathless three hours speedrun, a player managed to finish Elden Ring in less than an hour and here's more about it

Speedruning is quite common in FromSoftware games and there are quite a lot of different categories with in the Any% with no magic for exemple or finishing the game without dying, without being hit etc. Any% is the most popular category in speedrunning and the goal is to finish the game as quickly as possible and whatever the means used. Another popular category in Souls is the SL. The Any% SL1 (Soul Level) is a much more complicated category than the Any% and is unique to FromSoftware games. Players must complete the game as quickly as possible, but with a level 1 character from start to finish.

Recently Niko Belli managed to set a world record by finishing the main scenario of Elden Ring in 2:35 without dying and a new record has been set today.

LilAggy narrowly finishes Elden Ring in under an hour

Niko Belli's performance falls into a different category from that done by LilAggy; indeed, the latter finished the game in Any%, unlike Niko Belli who did not allow himself to die. Even though the two categories are in a different degree of difficulty, there is no reason to say that the performance of LilAggy is simpler: they are simply different. The latter tried for 14 hours to develop the perfect run that would allow him to save as much time as possible.

And it was the last hour that was the right one, because after thinking several times about the different paths he should take and how he should engage the fight with the different bosses, he managed to finish the game in less time. an hour — more exactly in 59 minutes and 38 seconds.

Even if the open world is vast, it is possible to focus on the main plot of the story which boils down to a few bosses. The discovery of different points of interest, catacombs, side bosses and the elimination of all mobs in dungeons and other places are not necessary to complete Elden Ring.

Unfortunately for LilAggy, her record will undoubtedly be broken, by another person and so on. This is how speedrunning works. Some people are currently working on completing the game in under 40 minutes; to say that the competition is fierce. With a better knowledge of the bosses and an impeccable technique to kill them, it is true that precious minutes can be gained in order to get a new record.
