After Taipei and Amsterdam, it was (almost) logical that the 2019 World Championship should be held again on the American continent. Just like the year the game was released, the Hearthstone World Championship will be held at the Blizzcon.
This event will see the "Supreme" Grandmaster being crowned.
Who will be the qualified players?
Eight players will be in the running to win most of the $500,000 cash prize money from this event:
- Two players from the Europe server
- Two players from the Americas server
- Two players from the Asia-Pacific server
- Two players from the China Server Gold Series
At the end of each Grandmasters season, one player per server will win his qualification for November finals. In addition to the six qualified players at the end of the two seasons, there will be two players who will have performed in the China Gold Series, the fiercest competition on this server.
