The American player for Team Liquid— David "Dog" Caero — announced that he will step down from Hearthstone's Grandmasters ahead of Season 2. Dog declared that he wants to focus on streaming and other personal projects, but he denied that he made that decision because of its recent success in Teamfight Tactics.
As expressed by the official rules, when a player leaves his spot, the player with the most earnings is eligible for Grandmasters. Because he ranked second during Master Tour Las Vegas, Edward "Gallon" Goodwin will take the vacant spot.
