The great King Bagurgle arrives on Hearthstone Battlegrounds!
In an ad for the game mode, a new minion was unveiled! We don't know all his characteristics yet, but when he arrives in the game at the beginning of December, he will surely have the opportunity to improve the Murloc archetype, which is seriously lacking solutions in late-game.
A Reddit user, Fuugler, discovered the minion and posted it and Lead Designer Mike Donais eventually confirmed the apparent leak.
In his message, he also reveals that King Bargugle will be available from the beginning of December, most probably at the same time than the next expansion: Descent of Dragons.
Who is King Bagurgle?
- King Bagurgle, is a minion of the fifth tier of the tavern.
- He is a Murloc of legendary rarity.
- He will be available in December.
- He has a Battlecry and a Deathrattle buffing other Murlocs by giving them +2/+2. However, this doesn't apply on himself: He will only boost other Murlocs.
Other elements of the advertisement
Many other elements change compared to the beta on some other minions. This may be an error or future changes, but Khadgar and the Scavenging Hyena both appear with their golden statistics (obtained by collecting 3 identical servants) without having a golden edge. This would suggest a buff from their 'normal' version, but we can't really be sure.
The developers announced the arrival of four new heroes for Hearthstone: Battlegrounds next December. Dataminers have managed to recover these four heroes and their hero powers!
