Temtem is a semi-MMO, and like any MMO, it has online features such as adding friends to participate in fights or trade. Except that when we want to invite a friend from the menu provided for this purpose... Impossible to add anyone. So how to do?
In this Temtem co-op guide, we explain how to add a friend and then play multiplayer.
How to Add a Friend on Temtem
As we told you just before, it can be quite complicated to understand how to add a friend since no clear and precise information is given to invite a friend. Below, you can find all the steps to play in coop with one of your friends.
- Log in to the game
- Click O (PC), Y (Xbox) or △ (PlayStation) to open the Nearby menu
- Click on Trainer Search
- Enter your friend's nickname (no need to put # and numbers, only the nickname is enough)
-
Your friend will receive an invitation and must accept it
To accept a friend request, simply go to Menu > Notifications > Accept (or Deny)
Is Temtem cross-play and cross-platform?
Yes, Temtem is completely cross-play, allowing you to play with anyone on any platform (PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S and PS5) to share a co-op adventure. Note that the game is also in cross-progression, so you are free to change platforms as you see fit to continue your adventure on Temtem.
What does Temtem multiplayer allow you to do?
The multiplayer part of Temtem allows you to participate in different activities:
- Fight against a friend in friendly or competitive combat
- Trade with a friend
- Play in Co-op to advance in the story together (and therefore face trainers and other Temtem in 2v2)
- Whisper to communicate
