A possible leak from PlayStation Brazil may have revealed information about the future release of Overwatch 2. We had already had first rumors with the pre-orders suggesting that the game would be released in 2020.
This post — now deleted from the official Playstation Brazil account on Twitter — reinforces them. It stated that "2020 will be the year Overwatch 2 comes to PS4". This tweet had a link to an interview on the Playstation Blog dated November 2019 with Aaron Keller — the game's assistant director.
Beware though, nothing certain in this new leak. The tweet was quickly deleted and no confirmation, or denial, has been made by Blizzard nor Playstation teams for the moment. It's also possible that the information was revealed a little too soon by Playstation Brazil, and that we'll soon have some news from the Overwatch 2 official team.
At worst, we'll have to wait until BlizzCon 2020 for new information about the game. It'll complete the first game, adding a very important story missions as well as new game modes, new characters, and new maps. The game should be released simultaneously on PC, Playstation, Xbox and Switch.
