During the PlayStation 5 Showcase, a public alpha for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War was announced.
Releasing exclusively for PS4 players, the alpha will give players the opportunity to get their hands on what was demonstrated during the worldwide multiplayer reveal.

How to download
The Black Ops Cold War alpha begins on Friday September 18th at 10AM PST.
Players can pre-load the alpha right now! Go to the PlayStation Store, select the alpha, and begin the download.
File size
The size of the alpha is 27.2GB in size, meaning it shouldn't take too long to download onto consoles. Just make sure there's enough space on the hard drive!.
