During Activision's Q3 conference call, it was confirmed that weapons in Black Ops Cold War will integrate into Warzone.
Warzone is arguably Activision's strongest marketing tool for the Call of Duty franchise and it comes as no surprise to see the publisher continuing to utilise it to its advantage.
It has been confirmed that weapons players unlocked in Modern Warfare will still be available in Warzone even after Black Ops Cold War has been integrated.
However, Modern Warfare classes and weapons will not be available on Black Ops Cold War.
Activision's full statement on the subject can be found below:
“Now, of course, players can continue to use their Modern Warfare content in Warzone once Black Ops launches. And as a result, one cool feature that players will see is that they will be able to choose either their Black Ops loadout or their loading Modern Warfare into Warzone for their gameplay. And that's just one example of how Warzone will develop and evolve over time. "
Don't forget that the integration of Black Ops Cold War into Warzone will take place in December when the first season of the new game is deployed.
As for operators and cosmetic items from Modern Warfare, players will also be able to find them on Warzone but they will not be able to be used in Black Ops Cold War multiplayer.
