CS:GO: IEM Katowice 2021 will be held without a crowd

Counter-Strike enthusiasts should, even if enable to fill the empty seats in the arenas, have the chance to follow CS:GO back in an Offline format with players back on stage.

This is what the ESL revealed in its press release announcing that the next IEM in Katowice (Poland), will be held in the venue, but without a crowd. A similar edition to that of the 2020 edition.

Unless there is a consequent issue, the event, which will also host major tournaments of StarCraft II and Warcraft III, will thus be played in Europe, from February 16 to 28 for CS:GO.

Like the last World Championships of League of Legends, the IEM Katowice will take place in a health bubble format. 24 teams will be present to compete for the million dollars involved.
