Just days after its release, the Steam Deck is already experiencing "joycon drift" issues like the Nintendo Switch but it looks like Valve was ready for it.

The Stream Deck released a few days ago, and as always with consols and controllers one might be worried about the stick drift that affected many machines and most notably the Nintendo Switch with the Joycon Drift issues.

Stick Drift already reported for the Stream Deck

Available since February 25, Valve's new system is a real boon for those wishing to enjoy their PC games in portable mode. Overall well received by the press and users, the Steam Deck nevertheless suffered the wrath of some players on Reddit who reported that they suffered from “joycon drift”.

Valve reacted immediately and declared that they had deployed an update supposed to correct this bug which currently only affects a few players. On the networks, Lawrence Yang, designer, said:

A few minutes later, one of the netizens on Reddit who complained about the drif claimed that the update fixed his problem. Don't forget to download the patch to your Steam Deck if you suffer from the drift.
