Blizzard had recently announced a new "What's Next" livestream for Overwatch 2, and now it is just days away.
Beginning on Thursday, May 20, at 12pm PT (9pm CEST) the event will be shown on Twitch and YouTube. In it, we should expect Blizzard to show changes coming to Overwatch 2's PvP.
The streamed event will be hosted by Matt "Mr. X" Morello and Mitch "Uber" Leslie, and will also feature Aaron Keller, Geoff Goodman, and Dion Rogers. Being the Game's Director, the Lead Hero-designer, and Associate Art Director respectively, these three should give a large insight into the upcoming game.
Not only will the stream discuss Overwatch 2, but will also show gameplay for the first time. The two hour event will also have appearances from content creators like Stylosa and Cuppcaake.
After the event, the developers who are working on Overwatch 2 will then take part in a Reddit AMA on May 24, where they can dive deeper into the Overwatch franchise.
Overwatch 2 is due for a 2022 release, alongside Diablo IV, at its earliest.
