Battlefield 2042 was presented at EA Play, and the announcement of Battlefield Portal has got everyone excited. Battlefield Portal will include content from Battlefield 1942, Battlefield 3 and Battlefield Bad Company 2 within Battlefield 2042, allowing players to customize their games.
Notable leaker, Tom Henderson, has pointed out that there's no doubt Call of Duty is going to copy the feature presented by EA and DICE.
"And this is how you incorporate remastered content into your game. I have a feeling that we will get a 'Call of Duty Portal' in the next 5 years."
This is something that would fit Call of Duty like a glove, allowing players to enjoy classic maps, weapons and modes that are now part of the past — although it could be argued that Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War are have already done it by adding retro maps.
