While Lost Ark has been available for a few weeks now, we still lack 7 classes from the initial game and many players complained about the gender lock of some classes and here's Amazong Games and Smilegate Statements on the matter.
Lost Ark Next Classes
On the official Lost Ark forums, some players created a post reporting the lack of news regarding upcoming classes on European servers. A response from a community manager called Roxx revealed some information about future projects.
"We always intended to launch with 15 classes at start, and add in more over time. This plan has not changed, and we will be rolling out new content in a steady cadence for players, since it is a live service game."
"The roadmap is still going to happen (I assume classes will be a part of it) but right now since we’re focusing in on resolving the launch issues, we don’t want to push it out or run ahead too quickly before addressing what is outstanding"

Lost Ark Gender Lock issue
Back to the Sorceress reveal post, Amazong Games took the opportunity to talk about gender Lock even before the game's release. And as you can see, with the release nothing changed from the original game, here's what they said back then though if that can give you hope.
"From the earliest days of Lost Ark’s announcement in the West, we heard players' feedback about gender locked classes loud and clear. While not every class in the game currently has a male and female counterpart available, we wanted to be sure to include those that do early on. In the future, Smilegate RPG will be creating more counterparts for classes that are still gender locked, and we will bring these to Arkesia in time."
