Following the last State of Play, we now know a lot more about Hogwarts Legacy. The 14 minutes of gameplay was an opportunity to see how the open world would go, the kind of activities available within the castle, some nice cinematics with colorful characters and more
Hogwarts Legacy in hard mode?
For some players the most important information published recently for the game was that the community manager, Chandle Wood, confirmed that Hogwarts Legacy would have difficulty modes.
What difficulty modes will Hogwarts Legacy have?
We don't know exactly how many difficulty modes Hogwarts Legacy will have, but we can imagine this kind of thing inspired by other RPGs:
- Story mode : no apparent difficulty, the character cannot die and the goal is simply to follow the scenario to make the most of it,
- Easy Mode : the character can take damage and die but he has a high life bar and the creatures are easy to eliminate.
- Normal mode : ideal for those who want to both enjoy the story quietly and experience a few moments of startle when their character encounters difficult bosses to defeat.
- Hard Mode : a good dose of challenge where the fights are particularly difficult. It will be necessary to farm for hours the resources necessary for the preparation of potions and the improvement of your equipment.
- Nightmare mode : this is probably where you should insert a reference to Elden Ring, but in general this game mode is reserved for lovers of extreme difficulty. Repeating the dungeons several times in a row does not scare you and the slightest violent blow from a monster is certain death for your character.
