While a second Gameplay Showcase has just been announced for Hogwarts Legacy Hogwarts Legacy, Avalanche Software and Warner Bros Games took the opportunity to unveil the new release dates on PS4 and Xbox One, but especially the date of Release, hitherto unknown, of the Nintendo Switch.
The initial release date on next-gen does not move
Don't worry, Hogwarts Legacy is not undergoing yet another postponement. It is still scheduled for February 10, 2023 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Players with next-gen versions of the consoles or a computer meeting the minimum required configurations will therefore be able to play it in two months. On the other hand, if you have previous versions of Sony and Microsoft machines, or a Nintendo Switch, you will have to wait much longer...
Note also that the game went " GOLD " on the three platforms that will receive it in February. This therefore implies that no further postponement is possible and that development is complete.
Release dates on Nintendo Switch, PS4 and Xbox One
- PS4 and Xbox One : Hogwarts Legacy will be available on April 4, 2023 .

Nintendo Switch : Hogwarts Legacy will be available on July 25, 2023 .
Of course, the reasons that push the developers to take such a decision are technical since the title was above all designed for the next-gen: "The team is eager to present the game to you and we want to offer the best gaming experience possible on all platforms."
Important : the deluxe and collector's editions on these platforms will not offer 72 hour early access as is the case on PS5, PC and Xbox Series.
