The State of Play entirely dedicated to Hogwarts Legacy finally came after more than two years of silenceand the conference lasted no less than twenty minutes during which a new trailer with 14 minutes of gameplay was revealed. The opportunity, of course, to learn more about this mysterious open-world whose first trailer, in 2020, had generated more than 28 million views on the PlayStation YouTube channel.

If most fans suspected that a release date was finally going to be communicated tonight during the State of Play , it was not yet a given! First announced for 2021, the game was pushed back for the first time and since then we haven't had any news until today. The track of a second postponement or a simple month of release was therefore plausible. Unfortunately (or fortunately) it is actually a simple release period that has been provided and not a specific date.

If we already knew a little about the scenario of the RPG , a new trailer and the 14 minutes of gameplay allowed us to learn much more about the story taking place at the end of the 1800s (precisely on September 1, 1890). Here is a point-by-point summary of what to remember among the important information:
- We embody a student (wizard or witch) who arrives en route at Hogwarts school: that is to say, he does not arrive like Harry in the first year but directly in the 5th year,
- We control a very rare and ancient magic,
- Dynamic battles and progression to acquire new spells and combos,
