The world of Elden Ring is filled with fearsome creatures and bosses that can be faced in epic battles. However, one of the deadliest enemies in the game might not be the one you think...

Elden Ring: The most dangerous enemies are not the ones you think....

All die-hard Elden Ring players know it, the Underworld is a dangerous land, full of creatures all more aggressive and (sometimes filthy) than each other. The bosses present there punctuate the game, and some, like Malenia or Gurranq the Bestial Cleric, will give you a hard time. Also, dragons and other gigantic mobs won't make it easy for you. You got it, there's plenty of fun in Elden Ring. But what if the most formidable enemies weren't the ones you expected...?

The threat comes from below

It is indeed an animal measuring one meter at most that terrorizes Elden Ring players around the world. The Rotten Hound can be found all over the Underworld, and mostly attacks in packs. Which makes them real nightmares for heavy armor wearers, but not just for that reason. It turns out that at a certain place in the game, in Altus, the dogs in question are very aggressive and can kill you with just three bites.

His combo will cause your Shinless to bleed intensely which, regardless of your equipment, will be fatal to you. Bleeding in Elden Ring is represented by a red gauge in the center of your screen which, if fully filled, will cause you to gradually lose your life.

A bug ?

In the video, we can see that the player has a very resistant equipment, with 99 points of Vigor, 99 points of Endurance as well as many talismans increasing the resistance. However, he is killed in just three bites of the terrible dog's jaws. This is not a final boss and it's nearly impossible for a dog to normally kill so quickly on Elden Ring.

It is also possible to distinguish his "non-beugued" attack phases which remain dangerous but not as lethal, from his combo where the dog seems to chain bites at phenomenal speed. We therefore notice that his "usual" attack is indeed the first.

Additionally, the battle music , playing in the background, also seems to repeat unnaturally. Rest assured, this bug has been talked about all over the world and will therefore surely be in the concerns of FromSoftware. Altus Plateau hounds' deadly combo should be gone by future updates, so you can explore the Underworld in peace. However, don't forget that the bosses are still there and still just as formidable !

Elden Ring: Soon a new new feature?

Many secrets have crept into the Underworld, and there may be many more yet to be discovered. A Twitter user would have discovered in the hidden files of the game the existence of a bestiary… Project to come or to be abandoned?
