What could be better than taking a few days off in the city of Caldera ? The sea, the palm trees, the little cabins... In a few hours now, Call of Duty: Warzone players will welcome Mid-Season 3, and one of the main novelties of this update will be the addition of a subway system . Enough to play vacationers 100%!
Take a metro ride through Caldera
It is indeed without warning that the official Twitter account of Call of Duty announced the arrival of a brand new transport system which will therefore be established in the city of Caldera.
Remember, shortly before the launch of this third season, funny noises occurred from time to time under the surface of the asphalt of the city, and it was actually about the carts of mines discovered by intrepid explorers. Thanks to the latter, but especially thanks to the Toys for Bob studio, this new transport system will allow players to have access, not without difficulty, to 14 access points indicated on the map below .
If some players already know where 7 of these points are, it is because they are actually the hidden bunkers of Nebula 5 and already present in the Battle Royale. However, the other 7 access points will be in the form of hatches which will therefore give access to the central zone of the trolleys. In order not to get lost, the developers have taken care to integrate a map of locations at each of these.
You are here
But how does this new transport system work? Well nothing could be simpler. All you need to do is interact with the circular hatch and walk towards the cart. By doing so, the name of the destination will be displayed on your screen. After a few seconds of travel, you will appear instantly at your destination, but watch out for enemies that might spawn-kill...
In order to know whether or not you will be killed when you arrive at your point, light and sound clues will be integrated . For example, when the light is green, it means that everything is normal and therefore the place is safe. On the contrary, all the other indications can warn of a potential danger such as the presence of one or more enemies, or even the gas which will soon arrive in the said area.
New Loot Zones
In addition to this new transport system, Warzone Mid-Season 3 will be an opportunity for players to find the new high-value loot zones, which were already present in the Operation Monarch mode.
This time, these will definitely integrate the city of Caldera into the normal Battle Royale mode, and will allow players to get their hands on legendary equipment.
However, beware of enemies who will also go to these points that have become valuable.
