What feature is greatly lacking in Call of Duty: Warzone today? Don't look far because the answer is hard to find because it is so obvious at the same time.
If you've ever played Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's Battle Royale Blackout, you've already had to swim a few strokes in the water to reach the next area, and if swimming is indeed unfortunately not available in Warzone, this mechanic may well make a return in Call of Duty: Warzone 2 .
Warzone 2 should allow swimming
Who has never seen themselves die stupidly in Warzone when he or she had decided to go into the water to go faster in order to reach the next zone (yes yes it happened to us...)? Well this should only be a distant and bad memory since a new leak announces the return of the swimming mechanic for the next Battle Royale.
Attention, this is once again a rumor that has still not been formalized by the Infinity Ward studio, but it still comes from one of the biggest leakers in the Call of Duty environment, namely Tom Henderson .
If we already know that Warzone 2 will make a 180 degree turn, the next Battle Royale should introduce swimming mechanics into its gameplay. According to a tweet published by the journalist in question, we can indeed see in his publication a sketch on which is written the following message: " Lots of water here! Well done you can swim! ".
The return of swimming could be a real plus for the Battle Royale. In Warzone, this is sorely lacking and yet could get us out of a lot of trouble. Let's hope the developers affirm the words of our leaker.
A Battle Royale close to the Blackout experience
Even if Infinity Ward , which is at the helm of Warzone 2, has not yet given any real information on the next Battle Royale, other than the fact that it will not be linked to any Call of game, it was without counting on our insiders who give us over the days some information on its content.
Warzone 2 should therefore be closer to BR Blackout, moving away from the codes that we already know with Warzone first of the name. First of all, we will have the right to a whole new inventory with the introduction of backpacks , but also an armor system like in Blackout with different levels, ranging from the lightest to the heaviest.
Also, the title should include an interrogation system. Players will be able to interrogate the enemies they have knocked down to find out where their teammates are. Once the interrogation is complete, the remaining players of their team will appear on the map.
