Prior to beginning the search for tin and copper that is required to create bronze in Valheim, players must ensure they have a pickaxe in their inventory in order to mine the ore.

Tin
Tin is found exclusively in the Black Forest biome, and more specifically at the Water's Edge.
Whether it's the sea or a river, look for shiny, smooth black rocks that are relatively round in shape. The rocks are usually found on the riverbank, in sand or grass, but sometimes appear under a few inches of water too.
Usually, the tin veins are close to each other and scattered around the area, walk along the shore to find plenty of rocks to harvest.
Copper
Copper is much different from tin.
Rather than small veins, the rocks contain massive deposits that are very hard to miss. They are also in the Black Forest, and they are usually found in steep areas.
It can also be found inland. Look for large gray and green rocks that are fairly flat. There are many similar rocks that look like copper but don't contain the copper veins that are very easy to spot when hovering the cursor over the rock. Plan several round trips for a single copper deposit, and don't miss the small pieces.
How To Transport Copper and Tin
The ore is extremely heavy and it cannot be teleported to your base, meaning it will take some time to return to your base with the ores.
Consider making a cart with the first bronze ingot smelted in order to make transporting much faster. Players can also buy the strength belt from the merchant which will also assist in the process.
How To Make Bronze
To make bronze, combine two pieces of copper with one piece of tin at the Forge. This will create a bronze ingot that can be used to make a wealth of items ranging from weapons, armor, and farming equipment.
