There are a lot of different currencies in Lost Ark and here's everything you need to know about what they're used to and how to get them in a clear list.

Here's everything about the Lost Ark Currencies

One of the hardest thing in Lost Ark is keeping track of the large amount of information you get through your journey.

In this guide, we'll list what each of Lost Ark's corresponds to, but also briefly how they work and of course how to obtain them.

Lost Ark Main Currencies

Silver coins

Silver Coins are the base currency of Lost Ark. They are acquired very simply by killing creatures, completing quests or in chests: almost everywhere in fact!

They serve as currency for basic purchases: repairing equipment, traveling from one continent to another, using Triports, buying items from common vendors, etc.

Gold coins

Gold Coins are more or less the equivalent of Silver Coins but mainly for the Auction House. They can be obtained by completing certain rare quests, completing Raids, or can even be exchanged for Royal Crystals in the in-game store.

They are mainly used for the purchase of consumables improving the efficiency of your character, equipment of a higher level or to reforge your equipment in order to obtain new statistics on it.

Blue crystals

Crystals are the main high-level currency. They can be obtained by completing certain quests or achievements directly in-game, or in exchange for Royal Crystals or Gold Coins using the Auction House's currency exchange system.

They are mainly used to buy very high level items, especially in Mari's Secret Shop.

Lost Ark Shop Coins

Royal crystals

Royal Crystals are the only currency in the shop. They are obtainable in exchange for real money and can only be obtained through this means (or in the Founder's Packs before the launch of the game).

They can be exchanged for Crystal packs, Gold Coins, exclusive cosmetic items or other items such as mounts or pets.

Lost Ark Side Currencies

Stones of providence

Providence Stones are for cosmetic purposes only. They can be obtained through normal quests from certain NPCs in major cities, as a reward for Una's daily quests, or by killing so-called "Rare" creatures throughout Archesia.

They serve as currency for Gift Boxes (improving your Affinity with certain NPCs) and cosmetics sold by Trade Report NPCs in major cities.

Pirate Coins

Pirate Doubloons are the main currency of the shipyard. They are used to upgrade your ship, recruit new sailors or even send naval missions from your fortress.

They can be obtained in many ways: through co-op naval quests, Island Adventures, by defeating Ghost Ships, and multiple sea-related content globally.

Maritime Coins

Maritime Coins are the other currency of the shipyard. They are used as currency of exchange for Doubloons of pirates but also for various collectibles and other objects related to navigation.

They can be earned through most browsing activities, including co-op and episodically available world events.

Pheons

Pheons are a currency as anecdotal as they are important since they can only be spent at the Auction House. They serve as a tax when purchasing equipment or accessories from the Auction House.

Pheons can be obtained in exchange for Crystals, real money in the shop or during events available occasionally in certain places in the game.

Silmael Bloodstone

Sylmael Crystals are the primary currency from guild activities. they are used to obtain various objects from exchanger NPCs found in large cities.

They can be obtained by participating in your guild's activities and donating resources to it.

Courage Tokens

Tokens of Courage are the primary currency from PvP activities. they are used to obtain various items from exchanger NPCs found in large cities, including crafting components, mounts, titles and many others.

They can be obtained by participating and winning battles against other players.

Crack Fragments

Rift Shards have only one purpose: to allow the purchase of cards giving you access to certain dungeons.

They can be obtained by participating in certain world events, the Doors of Chaos, available episodically and randomly in certain areas of the game.

Shards of Harmony

Shards of Harmony are a very high level currency. They are used to improve your equipment through an experience bar that only the use of these shards can fill.

Shards of Harmony are obtained in Chaos Dungeons, by dismantling equipment, as rewards from Una's daily quests, in the Tower of Infinity, and multiple other very high level content.

Shards of life
