Are you a PC gamer and you regret the death of your Z key in game? Do not panic, because the controllers are supported by Tower of Fantasy, but there are a few specifics to take into account. That's why, in this guide, we explain how to use a controller to play Hotta Studio's new game.
How do I play Tower of Fantasy with a controller?
Things are quite simple; by connecting the controller to your computer, you will be able to play with said controller. In the Controller menu, available through Settings, you'll be able to review your keys.
We strongly invite you to review a good part of the keys, because some are unused and yet seem very useful for your adventure. On the other hand, some actions cannot be performed with a joystick; like in particular navigating in the menus (simulacra, weapons, bazaar, etc.) and in the chat part. You will be forced to use your mouse to reach these menus.
However, not all controllers work in the game. Below, you can find a small list of controllers compatible with Tower of Fantasy.
What controllers work on Tower of Fantasy?
If you are a PlayStation user, Sony controllers are not yet recognized by Tower of Fantasy. On the other hand, Xbox players, for their part, will be delighted to know that these work wonderfully in game. By simply connecting the controller to the game, you will be able to enjoy it without too much constraint (except for menu navigation).
Below, you can find a short list of other controllers compatible with Tower of Fantasy:
- Logitech Controller
- Elecom Controller
- Microsoft Controller
Do the controllers work on mobile?
In a tweet, the developers responded positively to this question. However, we do not know if this feature will work on iOS and/or Android. Logically, yes, you will be able to set up your controller set-up to play on mobile, but very little information has been given for the moment.
I don't have a controller... What should I do?
If you don't have controllers, the best solution for you is to put your keyboard in qwerty by pressing the left Alt + SHIFT keys simultaneously. Indeed, as we told you at the beginning of the article, despite a rebind of the keys, the game "blocks" the Z key for reasons still unknown to this day.
Therefore, if you don't have a controller, opt more for the qwerty option. On the other hand, if you are hopeful that the modification works for you, here is our guide that will help you modify your keys without hassle.
An update may appear to fix this problem, but here are some solutions to help you.
