Tower of Fantasy is available since August 11, 2022 and this new gacha game lets you experience a futuristic open-world adventure with an MMORPG aspect. Your goal is therefore not only to explore the different regions, to complete quests but also to summon characters and improve them. On ToF, the summoning system is a bit special and allows you to actually obtain weapons with various rarity levels: N - R - SR - SRR. Attached to these weapons are characters called Simulacrums only for SR and SSR rarities. Today, we are particularly interested in Frigg and his weapon Balmung.

How is Frigg/Balmung played and with whom/what weapon?
Frigg will shine if she is mobilized in an Ice team, and she will underperform in all other types of compositions. It can also be average if played against enemies with Freeze Resistance.
We will gladly pair her with Meryl, who is effective in breaking the shields of World Bosses.
Progression: how to improve Balmung?
The 6 star levels
Each SR and SSR weapon can progress up to a 6-star level. Initially, your weapon will be at 0 stars and you will therefore have to improve it 6 times to reach the maximum level, but this means that you will have to obtain the same weapon 7 times to improve it.
- 1★: Grants 1 point of Coldness each time you deal 550% of Frost Attack damage in the Frost Domain. Up to 10 coldness points can be accumulated.
When Domain of Frost ends, Chill points multiplied by Frost Attack multiplied by 95% Shockwave are inflicted on all enemies within the Domain of Frost. After leaving the domain of frost, you lose 1 point of coldness every 3 seconds. - 2★: Increases weapon's current base HP growth by 16%.
- 3★: Increases the Coldness cap to 15. When you use the Discharge skill of a Frost Weapon in the Frost Domain, you deal damage equal to 20% of Frost Attack times (Current Coldness + 5) to all targets within the gel domain.
- 4★: Increases base attack growth of current weapon by 32%.
- 5★: Breaking a shield with a frost weapon in the frost domain freezes the target for 2 seconds and deals damage equal to coldness points times the frost attack times 35% more damage (if the target cannot be frozen, the damage is doubled).
- 6★: When Coldness reaches 15 while in the Frost Domain, you receive "Frost Domain II" which increases Frost Attack by 12% when using Frost Weapons.

Recommended matrices
There are only 4 die slots to put on your weapon. A bit like artifacts, the matrices work in sets: the more pieces of the same set you put, the more the set in question grants bonuses. For Frigg and Balmung, it is better to accumulate ice damage thanks to a 4-piece Frigg set.
Set x2 : Increases Frost Attack by 8%/10%/12%/15% for 10 seconds when switching between Frost weapons. Kit effects work with others, but only the kit with the highest star rating takes effect.
Set x4 : When you create a domain of frost with the weapon "Balmung", enemies in this domain take frost damage equal to 55%/65%/75%/85% of the attack every second .
