Tower of Fantasy is available since August 11, 2022 and this new gacha game lets you experience a futuristic open-world adventure with an MMORPG aspect. Your goal is therefore not only to explore the different regions, to complete quests but also to summon characters and improve them. On ToF, the summoning system is a bit special and allows you to actually obtain weapons with various rarity levels: N - R - SR - SRR. Attached to these weapons are characters called Simulacrums only for SR and SSR rarities. Today, we are particularly interested in Bai Ling and his Nightingale Feather weapon.
Bai Ling: Presentation of the SR and banner
Bai Ling is part of the game's permanent banner (obtainable with Golden Nuclei - you get a guaranteed SR every 10 summons) but you also have a low chance of getting it on the very first temporary banner in the game (Nemesis ), which lasts from August 11, 2022 (game launch) to August 31, 2022, as well as on the purple banner.

Note that you can get the first copy of Nightingale's Feather for free through the game's main storyline (after arena battles).
Then you can get it by summoning on the permanent, purple or temporary banner. Some World Bosses give you a chance to loot the weapon: Robarg, Apophis, Cryobot, Lucia and Sobek.

- Grievous Wound : Fully charged weapons deal damage equal to 100.00% ATK on the next attack, and make the target afflicted for 7 seconds, taking 20% more damage.
How is Bai Ling/Plume de Rossignol played and with whom/what weapon?
Bai Ling is a good primary DPS that revolves around dodging attacks with his 5th advancement, becoming a reliable source of the Serious Injury debuff. In short, you must constantly dodge at the right time with Bai Ling to benefit from its best assets and cause damage.
- His strengths : with his bow, Bai Ling can obviously spend most of his time attacking from a distance, which is not negligible to avoid losing HP too quickly. No need to make it work with a healer in the team but rather focus on melee damage and buffs with Nemesis and KING for example. Its other great strength is its Awakening, which greatly facilitates solo exploration with increased speed each time you stow the glider or jetboard.
- Its weak points : arrows cannot destroy shields, which is why a King will always be useful in the team.
Progression: how to improve Nightingale's Feather?
The 6 star levels
Each SR and SSR weapon can progress up to a 6-star level. Initially, your weapon will be at 0 stars and you will therefore have to improve it 6 times to reach the maximum level, but this means that you will have to obtain the same weapon 7 times to improve it.
- 1★: Restores 1 dodge attempt every five normal attacks or after using Piercing Shot.
- 2★: Increases base ATK growth of current weapon by 10%.
- 3★: Increases headshot damage by 30%.
- 4★: Increases base ATK growth of current weapon by 20%.
- 5★: Dodge skills inflict serious damage on targets for 7 seconds.
- 6★: Increases crit rate by 30% and crit damage by 50% against afflicted targets.

All Nightingale Feather SR Weapon Skills
Normal
- Draw : While on the ground, use the weapon to attack 5 times in a row.
- Charged Arrow : Use and hold normal attack to charge the weapon. deals base damage equal to 60.5% ATK + 3, and 50% more for each second spent charging, up to 3 seconds. Double damage when you land a headshot or when you hit an enemy's weakness, knocking them down (headshots are ineffective against Explorers).
- Rain of Arrows : After any normal attack, press and hold the normal attack button to trigger Rain of Arrows, dealing targets for up to 198.7% ATK + 10 area damage.
- Air Burst : When airborne, hit normal attack to attack airborne 4 times in a row.
Dodge
- Dodge : Dodge just before being hit to activate a Fantasy, which reduces the speed of enemies in the area. Reload: 15 seconds. While dodging, you gain immunity to stuns for 0.5 seconds.
- Trapped Arrow : Hit the attack after dodging to trigger Trapped Arrow, knocking the target back a short distance and dealing damage equal to 85.5% ATK + 5.
Nightingale Feather Special Skill
- Piercing Shot : Somersaults backwards and fires 1 piercing arrow forward, dealing damage equal to 154.8% ATK + 8 and knocking the target back. 12 second cooldown.
Discharge (ultimate)
- Explosive Barrage : When the weapon's charge is full or a Fantasy is triggered, removes all detrimental effects from the weapon's wielder, and triggers an Explosive Barrage on the target when switching to this weapon, dealing damage equal to 486.6% ATK + 26.
Recommended matrices
There are only 4 die slots to put on your weapon. A bit like artifacts, the matrices work in sets: the more pieces of the same set you put, the more the set in question grants bonuses. For Nightingale Feather, it is recommended to boost the damage with a Samir 4-piece set.
Set x2 : Increases damage when you hit a target, by 1.5% each time, up to 10/13/16/20 stacks. Buff stacking time: 2 seconds.
Set x4 : Each attack on locked targets deals bonus damage equal to 10%/12.5%/15%/17.5% ATK.
