Descent of Dragons has finally arrived in Hearthstone and with it the new Invoke mechanic, the new Galakrond hero for E.V.I.L classes and side quests.
As expected, this new expansion transformed the meta and the recent release of Galakrond's Awakening also shook things upside down!
We invite you to come back to an interesting decklist, the Quest Druid. Here is the code, the list and the new cards required to play the deck, as well as some gameplay.
The Token Druid is an old archetype of Hearthstone history. He has been found in many metas, and the deck was already interesting during the Rise of Shadows. For this new version, we keep a lot of the cards that allowed the deck to come out of the shadows and we add all the package brought by the Descent of Dragons.
The idea is still the same, put small creatures on the board, buff them more and more until you defeat your opponent. What if your opponent empties the board? You'll just have to lay down more of them!
Your early game will be powered by Acornbearer, Shrubadier, and Landscaping. This version of the Token Druid is based on the Treant synergies enabling the full use of Goru the Mightree but also of the Mulchmuncher which can be used quo early if your opponent doesn't let you taking control of the board.
Once the board under your control, you'll be able to use Blessing of the Ancients or Power of the Wild. To take back the control of the board you can count on Force of Nature and The Forest's Aid while Sould of the Forest will provide your deck with added flexibility. Aeroponics will be a great help with its ability to draw 2 for (1) or even for (0).
